The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the UGC NET Exam 2021 revision window for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. On September 7, 2021, the rectification window opened and will stay open until September 12, 2021. Candidates who want to make modifications to their application form can do so at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, the official website of the UGC NET.
According to the official notice, all registered applicants for the mentioned examination should go to the website and double-check their information. They are also asked to fix any errors or omissions in their personal information on their specific registration form.
The repair window will close on September 12, 2021, and after that, NTA will not accept any corrections under any circumstances. Candidates who wish to make changes to their application form must pay an extra charge using a credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet generated during the online rectification process.
The rectification facility, on the other hand, is only available to candidates who have successfully submitted the application form together with the required cost by September 6, 2021. Because this is a one-time facility provided by NTA, candidates must exercise extreme caution when making corrections (s).
Candidates can make adjustments to their UGC NET applications by following these steps:
- Visit https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ for further information.
- On the main website, click the link for the rectification window for the June 2021 and December 2020 exam cycles.
- Sign in with the necessary information, such as your application number and password.
- Make any necessary modifications to the form and double-check the information before submitting it.
- Save a copy of the repaired application on your computer for future use.
The edit window is only available to candidates who have successfully submitted the form and paid the cost by September 6, according to the announcement. The circular also indicates that no changes to the application form would be accepted via e-mail, hard-copy application, fax, or other means.
The UGC NET exam will be held on the 6th and 8th of October, as well as the 17th and 19th of October. To ensure consistency, the exam cycles of December 2020 and June 2021 were consolidated. The two exam cycles’ Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) places have also been combined.
The test will be computer-based and will be used to determine individuals’ eligibility for positions as JRFs, Assistant Professorships, or both in Indian colleges and universities.
The candidate must be under the age of 31 on October 1, 2021 to be considered for the JRF. When applying for the Assistant Professor position, there is no maximum age limit. The age limit for JRF is only in effect for the June 2021 exam.
