The CoE will help the institute’s efforts in this area run more smoothly and efficiently because of its synergy. Along with numerous supported research projects, the CoE umbrella will house executive development programs, expert lectures, training and information transfer initiatives, and other projects of mutual interest, according to a statement released by IIT Delhi.

In a collaborative journey with IIT Delhi, it is a privilege.” An ever-increasing need for useful, sustainable products is pushing new developments in the paper industry. The proposed CoE would integrate cutting-edge research at IIT Delhi with JK Paper’s application know-how to accelerate innovation in paper and packaging and develop solutions for a number of our customers’ end-use applications,” said Mr Mehta.

Prof. Rao welcomed the partnership by saying, “We are glad to be connected with JK Papers and look forward to the vast research and development potential that this CoE will bring and excited to work together on prospective technologies of mutual interest.”

According to Prof. Rao, industry-academia collaborations will assist IIT Delhi’s quest for excellence and further improve India’s public research and innovation ecosystem.

IIT Delhi Dean of Corporate Relations, Prof Anurag S Rathore, stated, “The strong brand equity of JK Paper has been developed by applying the newest technology, continual research and development, and innovation. And we are glad to embark on the path of collaboration.

The CoE’s coordinator, Prof Ashwini K Agrawal, stated that the center’s goal is to develop innovative technologies for the country’s paper and packaging business.
