Yediyurappa called his visit to Delhi successful; he was told that Central Leaders had requested him to continue his post.

“It is my duty, from time to time, to follow its instructions. There is no question of a change of leadership,” Yediyurappa told reporters on his return from Delhi. ‘There are a lot of questions about leadership.

During his two-day visit to the national capital, Yediyurappa summoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP President J. P. Nadda.

The Chief Minister said that discussions with the central leaders focused on building and strengthening the Karnataka party before elections and guaranteeing the party’s return to power.
