IIT Madras and IIT Madras Research Park to host IAS officers, professors, and entrepreneurs

The Symposium is being organized to bring together pioneering brains from academia, government, and business. The event will be inaugurated by Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions in the Government of India.

Key Highlight:

  • From March 7 to 11, the Government of India’s Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances will host a three-day symposium on “Imagining India 2047 via Innovation.” The Symposium will bring together pioneering minds from academia, government, and business to develop a ‘Vision 2047’ for India’s 100th year of independence.
  • According to an IIT Madras announcement, Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, will open the event.
  • Young IAS officers, IIT Madras teachers, and IIT Madras Incubation Cell entrepreneurs will be joined to bring their deep sector experience and enterprising energy to explore creative solutions together.
  • Eleven main sectors will be studied during the three-day conference, including education, healthcare and aided technology, water, infrastructure, and transportation.
  • Each day of the Symposium will feature top teachers and entrepreneurs presenting critical themes for Vision 2047.
  • Thematic presentations will be produced based on the interactions among the forty cohorts.

The Government of India’s Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances collaborates with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and the IIT Madras Research Park to host a three-day symposium on “Imagining India @2047 via Innovation” beginning March 7.

The conference is being organized to bring together pioneering brains from academia, government, and entrepreneurs to develop a ‘Vision 2047,’ commemorating India’s 100th year of independence.

According to an IIT Madras press release, the event would be inaugurated by Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.

Young IAS officers, IIT Madras academics, and IIT Madras Incubation Cell entrepreneurs will be seen working together to offer their deep industry experience and enterprising energy to create creative solutions collectively.

This three-day conference will focus on ten important sectors, including education, healthcare and supported technologies, water, infrastructure, and transportation, under the overarching themes of ‘Research and Development’ and ‘Innovation and Digital Governance.’

The Symposium will feature talks by senior teachers and entrepreneurs to help evolve the Vision 2047 under each main issue on each day of the conference. Thematic presentations will be developed due to interactions among the forty cohorts, suitably dubbed the ‘nucleus.’

According to the release, the Symposium will also provide all delegates with an insight into the evolving technologies under each theme, as well as the opportunity to ideate, conceptualize, and strategize the Vision 2047 with one another, not only during the Symposium but also in the years to come through detailed Vision papers.
