QS Employability rankings place IISc Bengaluru and 6 IITs in top 500 universities in the world

Six Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are among the 12 universities in India to be ranked in the top 500 of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022. Delhi University, University of Mumbai, and University of Calcutta have all reached the list. Op Jindal Global University, along with several other private institutions, placed in the top tier of universities worldwide.

On Thursday, twelve Indian institutions—the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and six Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs)—featured in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.

The Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay is at the top in the rating.

Among the private universities on the list are OP Jindal Global University, Sonepat, and BITS Pilani, while Delhi University, University of Mumbai, and University of Calcutta also made the cut.

In addition to IIT-Bombay, the IITs (numbering six) consist of IIT-Delhi (placing 131-140), IIT-Madras (placing 151-160), IIT-Kharagpur (201-250), IIT-Kanpur (251-300), and IIT-Roorkee (which has been ranked between 201-250). (500).
