BRAND-NEW DELHI: The Indian Railways will run 80 brand-new special trains beginning September 12, appointments of which opened on September 10 at the Indian Trains site. All regular tourist trains were suspended on March 25 owing to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. From May, the trains resumed operations in a staggered way.
The Railways only recently revealed 80 extra distinct trains, which will be ranged from September 12. This will remain in addition to the 230 trains which are currently in operation. “In addition to the 40 pairs revealed recently, more regular trains are anticipated to be varied from Odisha to satisfy the need,” authorities specified.
Train Board Chairman VK Yadav had just recently said railways would watch on all the trains that are presently in operation to identify which trains have a long waiting list. “Wherever there is a requirement for a specific train, any location the waiting list is long, we will run a clone train ahead of the real train so that guests can take a trip,” he mentioned.
