BRAND-NEW DELHI: The Delhi Authorities busted a worldwide narcotic drug cartel on Friday (September 12) with the seizure of 23 kilograms of excellent quality heroin worth over Rs 90 crore. Five key members of the cartel were apprehended, consisting of the kingpin of the entire operation.

” A group of Special Cell/Southern Variety has busted a worldwide narcotic drug cartel by apprehending its five necessary members. The group was led by Inspector Shiv Kumar and Inspector Karamvir Singh under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Cops (ACP) Attar Singh,” the statement stated.

The essential members nabbed were Uday Kumar (30 ), Subodh Das (26), and Sanjeev Kumar (25) from Bihar, Nityanand (28), and Rahul Handique (30) from Assam. According to a declaration from the Delhi Cops, the cartel smuggled heroin in India from Myanmar via Manipur.

Uday, Subodh, and Sanjeev were apprehended on the night of September 8 from External Ring Roadway, near Mukundpur chowk. They recovered twenty kilograms of heroin.
