The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras, aims to become the center of technology-based CSR activities in the country. The Institute held a roundtable meeting in Mumbai on December 16, 2021, called “Explore and Grow: CSR Partnerships.” CSR heads were there, and the Institute showed off its high-quality, technology-driven work. More than 140 big companies have given the Institute money for CSR projects, and they have been able to do high-quality projects that use technology all over the country. The round table session organized by IIT Madras was made up of panel discussions by well-known experts about socially relevant projects from the research world.
The panels also talked about important issues like affordable healthcare, sustainable urban infrastructure development, algorithms to solve real-world problems, and how technology can change the Edu-skilling space. They spoke of great solutions to these problems that technology can offer.
