In 2019, he was also honored with the IIT Delhi Distinguished Alumni Award.

“My education from the Department of Computer Science at IIT Delhi has been a basic pillar of my career. I am what I am now in large part because of that,” remarked Mohit Aron when asked about his contribution. This present is my way of saying thanks to the department for everything they’ve done for me.”

According to Prem Kalra, IIT Delhi’s department head of computer science and engineering, “the CSE department has acquired several new faculty members in the recent two years.” Thanks to Mohit’s kind donation, both of these things will help us come closer to our objective of being in the top 50 CS departments worldwide by 2025 and in the top 30 in 2030.

IIT Delhi Director V.
