In a wedding ceremony, actor Yami Gautam married director Aditya Dhar.
In announcing their marriage, actor Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar called the ceremony “intimate.”
A statement posted on Gautam and Dhar’s social media accounts announces their exit from the upcoming, blockbuster film “Uri: The Surgical Strikes.” Gautam, 32, and Dhar, 38, worked on the movie along with one another.
Aside from sharing a photo from their wedding ceremony, the couple quoted Persian poet Rumi’s line, ‘In your light, I learn to love.’
In an intimate wedding ceremony today, we tied the knot with our families’ blessings. We were very private people, so we only invited our closest family members,” the couple said.
Yami and Aditya concluded the letter by asking for all your blessings and best wishes as they embarked on their love and friendship journey.
Next, he is scheduled to appear in Dasvi, co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, who was born and raised in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
Dhar, who hails from Delhi, is currently working on “The Immortal Ashwatthama”, which marks his reunion with “Uri” star Vicky Kaushal.
Aditya Dhar, who is he?
In addition to writing, Aditya also directs and lyricizes. In 2008, he began working in the industry. He has given the lyrics for the films Kabul Express, Haal-e-Dil, One Two Three, and Daddy Cool. Aakrosh and Tezz are two other films for which he has written dialogues.
Director Sriram Raghavan made his directorial debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), a film about the 2016 Uri attack, and starred Vicky Kaushal and Yami in key roles. The 38-year-old director also won the best director award for this film at the 66th National Film Awards.
In the upcoming film The Immortal Ashwatthama, which also stars Vicky, he will wear the director’s hat again. A leading role in the film is expected to go to Sara Ali Khan. New Delhi, India, was the birthplace of Aditya on March 12, 1983.
Despite wearing traditional garb, the couple looked stunning. A bright pink dupatta adorned the maroon saree Yami wore. With traditional gold jewellery, she enlivened her look. You won’t be able to resist her kaleeras. Her hair was pulled back in a bun while she opted for subtle makeup and bold lips. During the D-day, however, Aditya wore an elegant white and gold sherwani.
Yami’s first wedding picture prompted a flood of congratulatory messages. The newlyweds were not only showered with lovely wishes from fans, but by many celebrities as well.
