ACCORDING TO THE UNIVERSITY, thirteen IIT Patna faculty members were included in Stanford University’s top 2% of scientists list this year. Every year, Stanford University in the United States publishes data on the world’s top 2% of researchers, based on Elsevier’s publisher of research publications.
As a result of the method, all scientists are divided into 22 main categories and an additional 176 subcategories. All scientists with at least five publications have access to percentiles broken down by field and subfield.

Dr Manabendra Pathak, Dr Surjit Paul, Dr Anirban Bhattacharya, and Dr Karali Patra are from the Mechanical Engineering department, while Dr Soumyajyoti Ray and Dr Naveen Kr Nishchal are from the Physics department, while Dr Richa Chaudhary is from the Humanities and Social Sciences department. Patna, IIT, was inaugurated on August 6, 2008 in Bihta. In addition to Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineers, Materials Scientists and Engineers, and Chemistry, the university has ten other departments.
