Ajay Kumar Sood, a renowned physicist, has been designated the government’s senior scientific advisor

Indian biologist K VijayRaghavan has been replaced by Sood on the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council. Sood will be in charge of the council for the next three years.
