The CEO of an information security company has given $1 million to the IT-BHU Foundation. Jay Chaudhry founded and is CEO of a cloud-based information security firm.
The donation will help pay for a professorship and a center for software development and data analytics at the university, where it will be used. The gift will help students, schools, and businesses grow. People in charge of the foundation say that Jaya is a good example for students.

It will help IIT-Entrepreneurship BHU’s Center, which helps students, teachers, and businesses get better with help from the money. During the 1980s, Chaudhry earned a BTech in Electronics Engineering from the IIT-BHU.
The IIT-BHU spokesperson says that a Software Innovation Center will be set up with the donation. This center will allow students to learn about software development, quantum computing, cybersecurity, IoT, and data analytics.
In collaboration with IIT-BHU, Deep Jariwala will help find a faculty member to be the Jay Chaudhry Professor of Software Innovation. This person will be in charge of and manage the Software Innovation Center. One of Chaudhry’s gifts will also help pay for a lecture series on software innovation and money for new software technology ideas. Vish Narayanan is in charge of these projects for the IIT-BHU foundation. “When I went to IIT-BHU, I learned a lot that helped me get ready for the business world. This Entrepreneurship Center will help young people learn how to navigate their careers and learn practical skills that will help them be more competitive in cyber security. I hope that the Entrepreneurship Center will give students with big dreams and aspirations the same chances I had.”
People who work for the IIT-BHU Foundation say that Chaudhry is a good example for the students. “With this gift, we’ve been able to get the money that will help students, faculty, and businesses grow at IIT-BHU. As alumni, we all have a strong desire to make our Institute better, move it forward, and make it known as a world-class engineering school. Jay’s gift lets us do all that and more.”
They also thanked Pramod Kumar Jain, director of IIT-BHU, and the Board of Governors for the S1 million endowment, which they said was important. Entrepreneurship Center: “It will help students learn and grow, keep the best people from all over the world on our faculty, and show young people who want to be entrepreneurs that we can help them.”
