Students can prepare for competitive exams with the help of IIT-PAL, an interactive website by IIT Delhi

IIT-PAL is a project of the Ministry of Education that gives free video lectures to students in classes 11 and 12 for no charge. The website has video lectures for math, physics, chemistry, and biology in classes 11 and 12 based on the NCERT syllabus. This way, students can learn about each subject topic one by one as they watch the videos.

Key Highlight:

  • A website called IIT-Professor Assisted Learning (IIT-PAL) has been set up by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, to help high school students prepare for exams like the JEE, NEET, IAT, and many more.
  • India’s new IIT-PAL site, iitpal.iitd.ac.in, will be a single place where students from all over the country can watch video lectures shown on the Education Ministry’s Swayam Prabha channels.
  • It will also be possible for students to talk to IIT professors in real-time.
  • IIT-PAL, a Ministry of Education project that gives free video lectures to students in Class 11 and Class 12, was started to help them better understand science and help students who study independently do well in competitions.
  • If the teacher is available live through an online video platform, students can talk to them right now, it says.

IIT-PAL, a Ministry of Education project that gives free video lectures to students in Class 11 and Class 12, was started to help them better understand science and help students who study independently do well in competitions.

A professor at IIT Delhi, Professor Joby Joseph, said that this website would be very useful for students who live in places where they don’t have access to teachers who specialize in science and coaching opportunities.

The website has video lectures for math, physics, chemistry, and biology in 11 and 12 based on the NCERT syllabus, the university said in a press release. This way, interested students can learn each subject topic in the syllabus over time.

“Most important, the website has the following useful features that a group of professors runs from different IITs in the country. Registered students can send in their questions and doubts about specific topics in English or Hindi. A group of professors and experts at IIT-PAL will work together to find the answers to these questions. All registered students will be able to see the answers to a few of the questions on the site “”It said,”

The release said that students who have signed up could also ask for a live conversation with a teacher about certain topics in English or Hindi. As soon as there are enough requests on certain topics, a schedule for these live interaction sessions will be put on the website. If the teacher is available live through an online video platform, students can talk to them right now, it says.

“We want to thank the Ministry of Education for their help with IIT-PAL from the very beginning,” Prof. Joseph said.

The IIT PAL video lectures shown on the Swayam Prabha Channels can be seen on Doordarshan DTH Channel 22 and at swayamprabha.gov.in, where they can also be found.
